This table is built from cypress, a wood known for its durability and the natural resin that gives the wood rot-resistant properties. The resin has even been used throughout history to create healing balms and ointments. My hope for this table is that it would serve its new home as a place to grow relationships that reflect the very qualities of its substance - relationships that are durable, bring healing, and last.
